Update: Lindsey & Tyler’s wedding is being featured as a Real Wedding on the Knot!
Sodo Park Wedding | Herban Feast
As a Seattle wedding photographer, I not only get to capture incredible wedding days, but I also meet the most amazing people. As I mentioned in Lindsey and Tyler’s engagement blog post (found here), Lindsey was born and raised and Michigan and with us having that in common, plus the fact that she is super rad, we hit it off right away.
Lindsey and Tyler chose to have their ceremony and reception at Sodo Park, which is a gorgeous venue that I instantly fell in love with. Sodo Park has a classy rustic feel, yet it is located in an industrial area that gives it a modern twist. Lindsey paid attention to every last detail and put together some unbelievably pretty and thoughtful decorations to transform the venue into a wedding wonderland.
The girls got ready at the totally gorgeous Alexis Hotel! I love it there, too. It was an all around I-love-everything-about-this-wedding sort of day.
I LOVE that the bridesmaids picked out their own dresses. Lindsey gave them a color scheme and they went for it. It looked perfect! Mismatched bridesmaid dresses are awesome.
The flower girls were in awe of Lindsey’s dress.
You know, just a little shave before the ceremony.
Heading to the “first look”!
I love first looks.
After taking some photos downtown, we headed to the Olympic Sculpture Park.
The bouquets were absolutely beautiful!
Lindsey and her mom had an emotional moment before the ceremony.
Here come the 7 flower girls!
They had the gorgeous wooden cross made for their alter and accented it with the same beautiful flowers.
The lovely, beautiful moms.
