I met Kate and Jeff back in March when I did their engagement photos. The first thing I noticed about them is that seemed very laid back and fun (my instinct was correct). The second thing I noticed about them was their amazingly beautiful eyes! These two love birds have different shades of blue eyes that are to die for.
When they told me they were going to have a Hollywood Schoolhouse wedding in Woodinville, I was ecstatic! This place is so cool and filled with vintage furniture everywhere and beautiful hardwood floors in the reception area.
Kate and Jeff lucked out with the best weather for both their engagement photo shoot and for their wedding day. The sunny day was perfect for their yellow themed wedding. The girls wore adorable light yellow dresses and the reception was accented with tons of soft yellow. I loved it!
Something else I loved was what their minister, Rick Todd, did just before the ceremony. He gathered Kate, her bridesmaids, her parents and brother, and Jeff’s parents and siblings and had everyone stand in a circle holding hands. He told them that he also performs services for funerals and that at every funeral he hears at least one person say that they wish they had another chance to tell that person how much they love him or her. This was their chance to tell Kate that they love her and anything else they want to say to her. It was truly a touching and emotional thing to watch and I’m so glad I was able to capture the moments of this for Kate.
Kate and Jeff’s wedding was filled with love and laughter and I’m so thankful that I was a part of it!

Kate and her dad before the ceremony during the “tell Kate you love her” session. I love that the minister did this!
Pure emotion as Kate’s mom told her how she is so proud of her and that she is the perfect daughter <3
The last step was to yell, “Let’s get married”!
So excited to watch his bride come down the aisle!
